Nicole Ahland produced the “Föhr CO 17/1” series during her time as artist in residence at MKdW in 2017. The series comprises eight small-format photographs that capture various sections of the North Frisian island landscape. They show the sky, earth and water, which appear in a muted colour scheme dominated by atmospheric shades of blue, grey and brown.
