Icy fun! The ice skaters glide across the slick surface, setting course with their arms crossed confidently behind their backs and their coats flapping. It isn’t easy to keep your balance –the poor fellow lying on his back in the middle of the picture, arms and legs splayed out, reminds us of that. The only ones with solid ground under their feet are the two people on the snow-covered path which recedes into the distance on the left and has a windmill rising up out of it.
